Fasting Again

I am so proud of myself today.  I managed another fast day.  This was my third.  I began with a large black coffee.

My strategy today was nothing for breakfast then use all 500 calories in one lunch at pod.  I was favouring Thai red curry. However, I was in a meeting in the office at Borough for the afternoon so I went early and met Zoe R. for a wander round the market.  Because I was unsure about calculating calories for anything here, I ate nothing.  We found this lovely flower stall in the newly opened part of the market.  Isn’t that pretty?The Gated Garden

We were given as a free sample a shot of ginger too.  It was amazing.  Freshly juiced ginger with some apple juice.  It was fantastic.  These little cups are really tiny.wheatgrass and ginger

No time for supper at home as we were heading off on a journey!  So I calculated the calories of 3 tangerines and 50 g mixed raw and unsalted nuts.Tangerines and nuts

Popped them in a bag and off we went.  Not much for a day’s food but it was enough and rather enjoyable, slowly munching them as we drove along.Today's tucker

About Lose Weight and Gain Health

Hi! My name is Zoe and I live in Hastings, East Sussex, with my son Harvey and dog, Milton. I have been fighting the fat for years but this time I am serious. I want to lose weight and gain health. This blog is about how I am changing my lifestyle so I can lose weight but not by just "being on a diet" but by making small changes to our lives so that as I lose weight, I gain health. Another objective is to add more exercise to our days. It sounds so simple when I write it down :-)

    Thumbs UP again Zoe. The more you fast, the more you will begin to notice you don’t “crave” the sweet you used to. You don’t crave a lot of things you used to. Say a big HI to the Special Guest. 😉
