Weigh Day Tuesday no. 6

Weigh Day Tuesday.  The 6th one of the year and I lost the 3 pounds I stupidly put on the week before.  So I am back to a total loss for the year of 21 pounds which averages out at 3.5 pounds per week which is awesome 🙂

An old favourite for breakfast.  Overnight oats made with 40 g oats, 200 ml almond milk, 10 g chia seeds, a banana and a black tea.breakfast and tea A delicious start to the day.

Back at the ranch, they tasted just as good as ever.pod nori wraps I bought 2 packets of chicken nori wraps and a small pot of kelp noodles and pickles.  They were ok but I was a bit put off by the colour!pod kelo noodles 397 calories.pod wraps and pickles Dinner was a stir fry made with 100g brown Basmati rice, 2 rashers bacon, onions, red pepper and mixed sprouts.bacon stir fry387 calories.
dinner 11-2-14 I had lots of calories left over so I had a cheeky little pot of Co Yo with mango.  Rich and creamy and it seemed like an indulgent treat.

I am really happy with my weight loss this week and my exercise of the last 3 days.  It is very motivating.

About Lose Weight and Gain Health

Hi! My name is Zoe and I live in Hastings, East Sussex, with my son Harvey and dog, Milton. I have been fighting the fat for years but this time I am serious. I want to lose weight and gain health. This blog is about how I am changing my lifestyle so I can lose weight but not by just "being on a diet" but by making small changes to our lives so that as I lose weight, I gain health. I want my family to be healthy too and never have to struggle with their weight like I have. In common with many large people, I have gained and lost weight many times over the years. This time, I want to lose it and maintain a healthy low weight. I am interested in eating food that is nutrient dense and delicious and that appeals to children and adults. I do not eat animal products so follow a vegan diet. I try to use locally produced food supplemented with what I can grow myself. I support and try to use local farmers markets and farm shops. Another objective is to add more exercise to our days. It sounds so simple when I write it down :-)

Great work again Zoe. Congratulations on releasing those pounds you put on last week by taking control again. I still haven’t found the coconut yogurt here, but won’t stop looking. 😀
