Working, Walking and Woking

An early start today for me and no time to prepare anything for breakfast first at home, so I bought a pack of apples at the station.  I ate them all plus 2 soya milk lattes from Timberyard.apples and coffee For some reason I had a fancy for some noodles today.  I was recommended Wok To Walk by some colleagues  so I walked over to Leicester Square to check it out.

They mark the vegan options 🙂1 box .. wok to walk sign You choose the noodles you want, any extras (I had mushrooms, Pak choi and cashew nuts) and a sauce (sweet and sour) then it is stir fried in front of you.Wok to Work wok Served in a cute box which I took back to the office to eat.  It was delicious.  Not enough veggies to be classified as healthy but really tasty.udon noodles 7-1-16 I was inspired to create something similar for supper but this time I added loads more veggies and only a few noodles.  Seasoned with a green chilli,  soy sauce, brown rice vinegar and lime juice it was pretty tasty.stir fry supper 16-1-16 supper 7-1-16

Not enough steps today because my Fitbit ran out of battery and is currently on charge!

About Lose Weight and Gain Health

Hi! My name is Zoe and I live in Hastings, East Sussex, with my son Harvey and dog, Milton. I have been fighting the fat for years but this time I am serious. I want to lose weight and gain health. This blog is about how I am changing my lifestyle so I can lose weight but not by just "being on a diet" but by making small changes to our lives so that as I lose weight, I gain health. I want my family to be healthy too and never have to struggle with their weight like I have. In common with many large people, I have gained and lost weight many times over the years. This time, I want to lose it and maintain a healthy low weight. I am interested in eating food that is nutrient dense and delicious and that appeals to children and adults. I do not eat animal products so follow a vegan diet. I try to use locally produced food supplemented with what I can grow myself. I support and try to use local farmers markets and farm shops. Another objective is to add more exercise to our days. It sounds so simple when I write it down :-)

It is the only thing I really do dislike about the Fitbit, as great as it is as an all round tracker for health. It never lets you know soon enough when to recharge it, so now I recharge it every other day because 3 days is pushing it with the Charge HR, even though it says it is usually good for 5 days.

Your meals looked great today, again.
