I made a very green and very drinkable smoothie for breakfast this sunny morning. 3 bananas, 2 kiwis, half a large bag of spinach and a cup of coconut milk.
I went to Wholefoods at lunch time to buy some fruit. Wholefoods is expensive but some of their products, such as mangoes, are so superior to the supermarkets I feel I can justify the cost. Wholefoods mangoes are properly ripe, sweet and juicy.
I fancied some sushi for lunch; I went to Wasabi and bought a vegetable box. I have never had one before and it was a good choice.
I really enjoyed it.
In the afternoon I had 2 apples.
I bought some strawberries in Wholefoods. These were for Harvey rather than me. He likes them with a little bit of coconut sugar.
I made a very simple supper. I mashed a ripe avocado with some lime juice, which I ate with cherry tomatoes, cucumber and lots of coriander.
I served the avocado, tomatoes and cucumber with some brown Basmati rice, peas and carrots.
I like warm food and raw cold food mixed together.
This was a quick and easy meal to prepare and simple and satisfying to eat.
It was good to get back on track after all the excesses of the weekend.
