I had so much yellow food today. I didn’t realise I had until I saw my pictures.
Delicious coco-nutty-granola with natural yogurt, mango and blueberries.
Lunch was disappointing because I didn’t read all the ingredients. Pure sell a good range of salads but the one I chose was full of pasta.
I am not really a fan of cold pasta.
Disappointed.

For supper I fancied mashed potato which I had with some sweetcorn and roast chicken. I am feeling very tired so this was total comfort food.
Tomorrow I am working from home so hopefully I can eat a high proportion of colourful raw food. What colour was your day today?

About Lose Weight and Gain Health
Hi! My name is Zoe and I live in Hastings, East Sussex, with my son Harvey and dog, Milton. I have been fighting the fat for years but this time I am serious. I want to lose weight and gain health.
This blog is about how I am changing my lifestyle so I can lose weight but not by just "being on a diet" but by making small changes to our lives so that as I lose weight, I gain health. I want my family to be healthy too and never have to struggle with their weight like I have. In common with many large people, I have gained and lost weight many times over the years. This time, I want to lose it and maintain a healthy low weight.
I am interested in eating food that is nutrient dense and delicious and that appeals to children and adults. I do not eat animal products so follow a vegan diet. I try to use locally produced food supplemented with what I can grow myself. I support and try to use local farmers markets and farm shops. Another objective is to add more exercise to our days. It sounds so simple when I write it down :-)
My colours were and will be rainbow with green being the dominant colour. Yogurt, organic peanut butter, strawberries, sunflower seeds, shredded coconut for breakfast. Organic Granny, celery with almond butter, cheddar cheese and Mary’s Organic Crackers. Supper will be Pork Chops with grilled Pineapple, kitchen sink Spinach salad and baked potato with sour cream and fresh chives. First cutting of the year.
That all sounds delicious Laura. What is kitchen sink salad?
The Base of the salad is Organic Spinach, Vidalia or Red Onions, Celery, Cremini Mushrooms, Red, Yellow, Orange, Green Peppers, (Organic when available, 1/2 Organic Gala or Pink Lady Apple, Organic Golden Berries, Organic Grape Tomatoes, Goat Cheese.
That depended on what colour was in the Mentos packet that I opened. Yes, I was naughty. But in my defense I only ate about a dozen of those small lollies. 🙂
Ha ha 🙂
