I slept better, felt better and ate better! Sounds like a simple chain of events to me.
Black coffee, an apple, an orange, some granola and coconut yogurt plus 2 Brazil nuts set me up until lunch time. At lunch time I braved the rain – it was sunny all morning and then rained throughout lunch time! – and walked to Wholefoods Market. I did have to buy one of these lovely lettuces.
I also bought a box of mixed sprouts.
For lunch I had a box of salads. A little bit of this
and a little bit of that.
Yummy.
These pretty tulips brightened up an otherwise wet and dull walk back to the office.
At dinner time I was not in the mood for cooking anything or even making anything too time consuming so I chopped up some veggies, dipped them in to some humous and that was that!
I might go crazy and have a Rooibos tea and then an early night.
Crikey, you will disappear if you keep going like that. Today I had a black coffee for breakfast, a mug of tomato and quinoa soup and an orange and pomegranate salad for lunch and then I came across a box of chocolate caramels and it went downhill from there! I’ve just eaten Halibut and mashed potato and a big glass of wine. Oh dear!
Well as you can see, I am very easily tempted! I have realised that I need to eat more quantity of high quality food i.e. fruits and vegetables. I am following a plan which urges you to eat sufficient bulk of plant foods so you dont feel hungry and so dont dive in to the chocolates! I am finding it does work unless I have temptation placed in front of me!
