I HAVE LOST 4 STONE !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! 🙂 🙂 🙂 🙂 4 stone and half a pound to be precise. YIPPEEEEEEEEEEEEE. So since I started work I have lost 5 pounds. Woo Hoo. I feel elated, can you tell? I am celebrating by being even healthier then ever.
Breakfast was some porridge from Pret with fruit compote and a filter coffee.
Lunch was rushed. I bought a salad of mixed green leaves with spicy chicken, tuna mayonnaise, roasted vegetables and a mustard and Dijon dressing.
I did not have time to open it for the photo and barely had time to pose the pot beside the river. So that was my lunch break – the 10 minutes it took to buy it. Such a shame I couldn’t spend more time outside as it was such an amazing day again. I ate at my desk.
I rushed out of work, determined to be on the early train so I could get to Weight Watchers. Just outside the office, i fell flat on my face. Oh the humiliation. I landed heavily on my knees which are now very sore but luckily nothing was broken and I did make my train.
So I made the weigh in. The ladies who do the weighing and paperwork were really pleased but no one was as happy as I was. Back at the ranch I wanted to pack loads of nutrients in to my smoothie. I prepared a pineapple. I put ¼in the freezer to help thicken up a smoothie another day, ¼ in the lunch pot for tomorrow, ¼ in the blender and the remaining ¼ disappeared. There is a little fruit bat who lives here and he adores pineapple and was later spotted watching tv and munching on a bowl of nuts and fresh juicy pineapple.
I also put in a pear, a kiwi fruit, some pistachio nuts, spinach and broccoli. All raw, just popped in to the blender.
With about 150g low fat cottage cheese for protein, a frozen banana and grapefruit juice.
It takes less than a minute for my new blender to turn all that to a thick liquid.
This one had the most perfect texture, thick, completely smooth and very creamy. It was rather an array of flavours but still delicious. Luckily as it made 3 glasses full!
Cheers and here’s to the next stone!
Well done – that’s amazing! What make is your new blender – mine couldn’t cope with all of that in one go that’s for sure. I like the idea of a smoothie for dinner – hadn’t thought of that.

A smoothie for supper is a genius idea. Especially when ones super duper new blender is so easy to wash up. You just half fill it with warm water, add 2 drops of detergent and blend it for a minute. So simple with nothing to take apart. But it is hideously expensive, hence it has been on my wish list for months and I waited until I had a job. I am almost embarrassed to say, but I bought a Vita Mix. For me, it’s worth every penny x
What brilliant news! Absolutely fantastic. Well done, you should be extremely proud of yourself! Lots of love from gini xxxx
Thank you. I am really pleased with myself and now looking forward to losing the next one x
Blimey girl, well done. I think I have at least one of your discarded ‘stone’ around my waist at the moment – very mummy like I am at the moment!! Yes, what make is your super smoothie maker, I think I need one.
Well done, sorry you fell over (so glad I didn’t see that as you know I get the giggles) but relieved you are all ok. Love you xxxx
I am glad you weren’t there too. You and Lara are shockers for giggling at other people’s misfortunes. Love you too x
Splendid…..well done you! I feel so pleased for you, and we haven’t even met. I feel like a stalker reading your blog everyday, but I guess that’s why people blog, so that other people can read, and I do enjoy reading it. Very, Very, very well done!!! Debz x
No stalking. I am really pleased people read my blog. Thank you for taking the trouble to make a comment – I always appreciate them
Zoe there is some serious calorie burning Happy Dancing going on here in Brougham, Ontario, Canada to celebrate your victorious 4 stone+ 1/2 a pound weight release, complete with a Make It Happen Motivational Monday of clean eating and prepping for tomorrow.
I am so proud of you and cannot wait for Bob to come home to share the news with him. ☺
Laura
Thank you Laura once again for your never ending support x
I am also glad you didn’t derail your great work by being sidelined with a broken anything today. Whew. If you have Arnica Gel there pick some up and rub it on your knees and if you can get the pellets, take them as well to help with the pain. I am praying for you to wake up tomorrow and only feel slightly bruised.
YOU ARE A MOTIVATIONAL STAR! x x from someone who may appear thin but certainly not healthy with the rubbish I feed my engine with. Keep up the good work Zoe x x
Thank you Bonny. Chuck some spinach in the blender and make a healthy smoothie – you may be surprised by how yummy it is !
That’s great!
I love your smoothie content, looks like the smoothie I had this morning but even healthier!
I love putting spinach in smoothies.. 🙂
Brilliant! I never doubted you’d get there but I did think that going back to work would make it harder to keep up your good habits, but you’ve made it seem easy. Well Done!!!
Thank you. I could easily have been wicked – sometimes I was, she says, thinking fondly of the raclette and Monmouth Brownies in particular! But I have focused on making a healthy start and not going mad and long may it continue!
You’re an inspiration! Well done Zoe. xxx
Thank you. Pop over for a spinach smoothie anytime x
Congratulations on your achievement. That’s Nearly 26kg! You must be very pleased. Keep up the good work. All the best. Xo
I am really pleased. Thank you x
Well done you!!! You should be proud of yourself and hope you were made a fuss of. You should have also had a 50lb certificate presented to you – I hope you have, if you want it, as you so deserve it….
Thank you Lisa. No, i didn’t know about the certificate. I will ask them.
