Another Day, Another Dollar

Deja vue!

I couldn’t resist this cute little sour cherry granola.  It is soooooo good.

Lunch was a quick sandwich with an unidentifiable filling!  I went out late and grabbed a sandwich without checking what it was and having eaten it, I was still not sure!  I did take 10 minutes today to eat it outside, in the sunshine, looking at the river.  Washed down with an orange juice.

I was home by 7:30pm and it was still sunny and warm.  I enjoyed a little potter about in the garden and being outside in the fresh air.  These are some of my favourite flowers of the moment and I have not touched up the colour at all.  They really are this bright pink.  Any ideas what they are called?

I pulled up some potatoes and boiled them.  I was meant to make a broccoli, mushroom and onion omelette but it ended up as a bit of a scramble.  So not a great photo but it tasted good.

Followed by some natural probiotic yogurt with passionfruit.

I am very tired tonight.  Work was tough and it wears me out.  Still, another day done, another dollar earned 🙂

About Lose Weight and Gain Health

Hi! My name is Zoe and I live in Hastings, East Sussex, with my son Harvey and dog, Milton. I have been fighting the fat for years but this time I am serious. I want to lose weight and gain health. This blog is about how I am changing my lifestyle so I can lose weight but not by just "being on a diet" but by making small changes to our lives so that as I lose weight, I gain health. I want my family to be healthy too and never have to struggle with their weight like I have. In common with many large people, I have gained and lost weight many times over the years. This time, I want to lose it and maintain a healthy low weight. I am interested in eating food that is nutrient dense and delicious and that appeals to children and adults. I do not eat animal products so follow a vegan diet. I try to use locally produced food supplemented with what I can grow myself. I support and try to use local farmers markets and farm shops. Another objective is to add more exercise to our days. It sounds so simple when I write it down :-)

I thought your pink flowers were penstemons, but having google imaged them, penstemons have a closed tubular bell-shaped flower and your flowers seem to be open. So not sure … xx

hello Zoe I have been following your blog for a while .Love your photos and empathise with your efforts. I think your flowers may belong to the salvia family
